Agus is program manager in SEI Asia and coordinates the Centre’s flagship programme, Sustainable Mekong Research Network (SUMERNET).
Agus joined SEI in January 2013. As coordinator, he maintains regular contact with collaborating researchers, stakeholders and networks; monitors financial processes; supports fundraising; coordinates communications about research outputs, programme news and events; coordinates and facilitates capacity-building and network development activities; and organizes outreach events, among other duties.
Prior to joining SEI, he was coordinator of the Asian Project Management Support Programme (APMAS) at the Asian Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2012. He has also served as project coordinator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Solution Exchange Indonesia; field coordinator for German International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH in Jakarta; and project officer for the ASEAN Secretariat.
He studied biochemistry at Universitas Indonesia; management of innovation at the Asian Institute of Technology; and advanced project management, supply-chain management and strategic technology management at CERAM Sophia Antipolis.
