SEI Currents – which trends will shape the coming year? – online event 17 January

SEI Currents 2024 leverages expertise from SEI centres across five continents, presenting trends that will shape 2024 and beyond. A distinguished panel of experts will reveal groundbreaking insights on community, societal, technological and policy transitions at this 17 January event. Kersti Kaljulaid, former President of Estonia and SEI board member will deliver the keynote speech.

The world emerges from a year that saw record heat, intensifying war and the takeover of artificial intelligence, we now head into the biggest global election year in our lifetimes. What risks and opportunities are surfacing? What issues warrant greater attention? Stockholm Environment Instititute’s (SEI) researchers have identified three key trends affecting climate policy, sustainable development and international relations.
