This event aims to reflect on children’s unique experiences and vulnerabilities in relation to migration in the context of climate change, and to discuss how children affected by migration can be more effectively protected and better cared for – whether on the move, or remaining behind.

Agenda:

Pre-event: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

  • Coffee/tea reception 

Event:

  • 10:00 a.m. –  Personal testimony, youth leader
  • 10:15 a.m. – Welcoming remarks
  • 10:30 a.m. – Presentation of the key findings and recommendations from the research
  • 11:00 a.m. – Panel discussion examining the value/relevance of the report for practitioners and policy makers
  • 11:40 a.m. – Open Q&A with panelists and research team
  • 12:00 p.m. – Closing remarks
