Albeiro Figueroa

Albeiro Figueroa joined SEI in 2024 and currently works as a Research Assistant at SEI Latin America within the Water Research Group. He is passionate about hydrology, water resources management, and programming.

Before joining the SEI, he worked at the Centro Nacional de Modelación of the Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales – IDEAM, as well as in the Dirección de Recursos Naturales of the Corporacion Autonoma Regional de Cundinamarca – CAR on topics related to development and review of hydrological models among other related aspects.

Albeiro is an Agricultural Engineer and has a Master’s degree in Hydraulic Resources Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, as well as a postgraduate diploma in geographic information systems (GIS) from the Universidad Antonio Nariño.
