Ajitha Duvvuri is a Research Associate at SEI HQ. She is a member of the team focusing on cities, communities and consumption in the Division – Societies, Climate and Policy Support. She is passionate about sustainability, finance, and community development. She is passionate about sustainability, finance, and community development and is currently involved in two projects: the Viable Cities’ Finance project and the ATLAST project.
Before joining SEI, She worked as a Research Analyst at the Mistra Centre for Sustainable Markets. Her previous experiences also include leading a finance department at an Education NGO in India, working as a teaching fellow with Teach For India, and serving as a credit analyst with the State Bank of India, one of the largest public sector banks in India. She has a background in community development projects and has provided consulting services to non profit startups in both India and Sweden.
Ajitha holds an MSc in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, with a specialization in Investment Management. Her master’s thesis focused on examining the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores and the performance of public firms in Europe during the Great Financial Crisis.
