Dr Takeshi Takama worked for the SEI Oxford Centre from 2006–2010. Since 2010, Dr Takama has been an SEI Affiliated Researcher, currently with SEI Asia.
Dr Takama has lived in Indonesia since 2010, working as a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Expert to support the government of Indonesia on climate change adaptation planning and vulnerability assessments.
Dr Takama is involved in various projects related to environment and development, climate change, and human behaviours including demand assessment of bio-ethanol / clean cooking stoves and the development of climate adaptation decision supporting tools.
