The challenges of climate change are profound, especially for older persons in Asia and the Pacific region, who face unique vulnerabilities. SEI and HelpAge International hosted a webinar on 23 May 2024 to explore these challenges head-on.

This event, part of the Global Ageing and Climate Change Regional Dialogues webinar series, aimed to foster a robust exchange of ideas among a diverse group of stakeholders. Policymakers and practitioners from international organizations, regional and national governments, NGOs, and donor agencies from the Asia-Pacific region joined this critical conversation. During the webinar, experts shared best practices and strategies for integrating the needs of older persons into climate adaptation and mitigation policies.
