Mbeo Ogeya is a Research Fellow at SEI Africa. Mbeo has 10 years research experience in renewable energy technologies and systems modelling, with extensive skills in LEAP Energy Systems Modelling, Engineering Design, Solar Photovoltaic, Bioenergy and Energy Efficiency. He has worked as an energy consultant, mentor and national policy advisor.
Mbeo has a special interest in demand and supply side energy management, local innovations in energy technologies and energy systems design and modelling. His research seeks to address energy trends and associated flows across all levels of production, distribution and utilization, from micro to macro systems. On cross cutting issues, he has profound knowledge and keen to work in areas of air quality and climate change focusing on GHG emission abatement and Short lived climate pollutant (SLCP). Other areas of interest are the economics of climate change including assessment of GHG abatement cost and building GHG inventories.
