Isabelle Mallon is a Research Associate in the Gender, Environment and Development cluster at SEI Asia. She joined SEI in May 2023.
Before joining SEI Asia, Isabelle worked for a consultancy firm in London, focusing ESG and geopolitical risk. She is also a UK Representative for Chatham House’s Common Future Conversation Programme, engaging with young people and global policymakers across Europe and Africa to influence decision-making on issues including climate change and social equality.
Isabelle holds an MSc in Globalisation and Latin American Development from University College London. Her thesis explored how gender was addressed in nature-based solutions and REDD+ policies in Mexico’s forestry sector. Isabelle plans to continue her work on gender equality and social equity whilst promoting sustainable development with SEI.
