Bora Hajdini is a Project Coordinator at SEI Headquarters – Environmental Policy and Strategy Team – Societies, Climate and Policy Support Division.
She is working towards providing technical support to national governments in Eastern Partnership and Western Balkan countries.
Bora is currently involved in the five-year Sustainable Transition in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH SuTra) programme, contributing to support the Environmental Governance and Capacity Building as well as the Transition of Coal Regions in BiH.
Before SEI, Bora worked for Swisscontact Albania, ‘Skills for Jobs’ project, responsible for supporting the implementation of activities aiming to promote Vocational Education and Training in Albania. Before that, she worked for the Albanian Public Administration as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the Directorate of IPA Funds, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting IPA Projects and Programs. Before that, she served the EU Policy Directorate, Ministry of Defence of Albania, responsible for the compilation of governmental strategic documents related to the EU integration of Albania as well as supporting the approximation of national legislation to the EU Acquis Communautaire. Bora has also extensive experience in the private sector working as a Tax and Accounting consultant in national and international consulting companies, providing finance, tax and accounting services. She has also followed a traineeship program at the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxemburg, serving the Operations Directorate in enhancing the effectiveness of the bank´s procedures in accordance with the set of internal regulations and policies.
Bora holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economy, Tirana, Albania and a Master’s degree in Advanced European and International Studies from the European Institute CIFE – Centre International de Formation Européenne, Nice, France.
