Anna Söder

Anna Söder is an Accountant/Financial Controller (Redovisningsekonom) at SEI Headquarters – Finance Department.

Anna works with the monthly financial reporting and contributes to the improvement of the processes. She is also supervising the accounting, making sure that nothing important is left out. Anna is responsible for the business system Unit4 and the administration for that.

Previously Anna worked for many years within the publishing business. Her last employment was with HarperCollins Nordic where she held a position as accountant manager and financial controller.  During her time at HarperCollins she was involved in a large project implementing a new ERP system at the same time as a reorganization was done with the start up of a shared service center. Before HarperCollins Anna held a position as an accountant at Storytel where she was responsible for several companies within the Storytel group.

Anna started University studies in Gothenburgh in Spanish and International Relations. Her idea was to complete this education and combine it with business economics to be able to get a position at an international company or organization working with Latin America. However, the start-up of a local bookstore together with her father got in the way for the initial plans. Instead, she studied part time and got a diploma as an accountant from Folkuniversitetet. After eight years in the bookstore, she started to work as an accountant in the publishing business. Over the years she has moved between publishing companies, widening her experience in the financial area. The position at SEI is combining her experience with the initial interest for other countries. At her spare time Anna is also engaged in the local Green Party in her home community.
