Ivo Krustok has extensive experience in environmental science and policy, having been related to the field for more than 15 years. He has a PhD in energy and environmental engineering from Mälardalen University, Sweden and has designed research projects, equipment and published in several scientific journals. After defending his degree, he has focused on environmental policy.
Ivo worked for the Ministry of Environment of Estonia for six years. He held several positions during that time – resource efficiency project manager, scientific adviser and climate adviser for the management in the ministry. He also spent two years representing Estonia as an environmental attaché in Brussels, working closely with EU institutions. After the ministry, he worked for 1.5 years for the Government Office of Estonia, coordinating Estonia’s green transition.
He is also very interested in environmental communication and has worked on several projects to support it.
Ivo has a PhD from Mälardalen University, Sweden (energy and environmental engineering) and a master’s degree from Tartu University (environmental technology).
