Dr Sizwile Khoza is a Research Fellow in the Gender, Environment and Development cluster at SEI Asia. She joined SEI in September 2022.
Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and part-time Senior Lecturer at the North-West University (African Centre for Disaster Studies) in Potchefstroom, South Africa, where she earned her PhD in Disaster Risk Science. Her transdisciplinary research interests are gender, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, resilience-building and sustainable development.
She holds an MSc. in Disaster Management and BSc. (Honours) in Environmental Science and Health, from the National University of Science and Technology in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
