Explore SEI’s latest projects and research to improve air quality in the UK and globally.
Air pollution is a big problem for our health and the environment. Tiny particles from pollution can enter our bodies and cause serious health issues, like strokes, respiratory diseases, and lung cancer. They can even lead to heart attacks. There are also pollutants that contribute to climate change and warming of the planet. The UK Government has taken steps to reduce air pollution and has introduced strategies and policies to tackle this issue.
The UK Clean Air Day is an important event that happens every year on the third Thursday of June. It is a day when we can learn more about air pollution, celebrate the progress made, and raise awareness about the challenges still faced. It is a chance to come together and take action to improve the air quality in the UK.
SEI works with different groups to mitigate the problems that come with air pollution and the address its sources. and you can find more information on their website about their efforts to promote clean air. On UK Clean Air Day, you will find SEI’s latest features, research publications and stories that showcase our commitment to clean air.
