Efraim Hernández is a Research Associate at SEI Latin America, and his work focuses on supporting the centre’s research on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Before this role, he worked in 2018 for the Spanish consulting firm IDOM as a spatial analyst and cartographer. He has experience developing urban and regional development plans in Mexico and Latin America. Efraim holds a MSc in Environment Science and Society from University College London, United Kingdom; and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
His areas of interest include climate change, the geography of sustainable development, network analysis, and social practice theory. Efraim combines his academic and professional background with a passion for solving and mitigating the environmental issues that the world faces.
