Yudi Yepes

Yudi Yepes is a Research Assistant at SEI Latin America. She supports the center’s work in the bioeconomy, especially on issues related to biorefineries, and technologies for climate change adaptation and mitigation, such as bioinputs and biochar. She is a biochemical engineer specializing in bioprocesses from the University of Antioquia, she has skills in the biotechnology area, such as enzyme and drug production, bioremediation, cell cultures, genetics, and process design. She is particularly interested in finding sustainable and scalable biotechnological solutions for agriculture, the environment, and the food, and cosmetic industries.
