Ng’endo Machua-Muniu serves as the Engagement and Impact Officer at SEI Africa, where she plays a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding SEI Africa’s collaborations with partners to drive meaningful impact across various programs, projects, and initiatives. In her capacity, she focuses on strengthening the translation of knowledge derived from SEI’s research and capacity development endeavors into actionable decision-making, ultimately influencing policy and practice across the African continent. Additionally, Ng’endo leads Communications and Engagement for the AgriFoSe2030 programme.
With a career spanning over a decade, Ng’endo is a seasoned communications professional, demonstrating a track record of results-driven strategies. Her expertise encompasses strategic communications, global advocacy campaigns, audio-visual production, media engagement, and stakeholder relations. Prior to her current role, she spent two years as a Communications and Impact Officer at SEI Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, working within the Project Communications and Impact division.
Before joining SEI, Ng’endo worked as a Communications Specialist at AGRA (Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa). In this role, she led and executed digital strategies and campaigns, as well as country-level communication strategies across 11 African countries. Her efforts were instrumental in bolstering AGRA’s regional and global reputation, particularly in the realms of agriculture and food systems.
Ng’endo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Daystar University, and is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) from the Digital Marketing Institute in Ireland.
