The fifth World BioEconomy Forum takes place online and in Ruka, Finland. It looks at the role of the bioeconomy related to climate change mitigation and how bioeconomy and bioproducts should be an instrumental part of climate change mitigation policies.
SEI Asia Research Fellow Stefan Bößner will deliver a keynote on “Governing the Bioeconomy: Some international perspectives” on 7 September 2022 at 9:30am EEST and SEI Africa Centre Director Philip Osano is a panelist on 8 September 2022.
The 2022 season will consist of online roundtable talks and the annual conference in September 2022. The programme is based on a four-pillar structure to ensure broad engagement of the circular bioeconomy stakeholders.
