Huiling Zhu is a Programme Coordinator at SEI Asia, followed by an internship. In her current position, she contributes to the climate policy cluster, focusing on aspects such as bioeconomy, land carbon sequestration, and carbon dioxide removal in Asia, with a particular emphasis on the ASEAN countries.
Before embarking on her journey with SEI, she was involved in collaborative efforts with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Indonesia and Vietnam, where she focused on promoting the adoption of renewable energy and championing biodiversity protection within rural communities.
She holds a master’s degree in MSc Sustainable Cities from the University of Leeds, UK.
